| I've found 13 new photos in my file manager and have uploaded them to the Photo Center. These photos were originially uploaded to the site in 2000-2003 but somehow got 'lost.' Hopefully I'll rediscover some more as I continue deleting old files. I'm currently working on the year 2004. Have a great weekend! |

It's official: I've used up all of my webspace! So, the last couple days I've begun the process of organizing the VIVIEN-LEIGH.COM file manager (it's huge!). So far, I've looked at every file uploaded to this site in 1999 and I'm only half-way through the year 2000. I've already deleted 500 files, but it hasn't opened up too much space. In the end, I'll probably have to expand this site's webspace because I want to continue to upload VL films and photos. Anyway, in the process I've found some 'forgotten photos' and a couple even have the 'Essence VL' watermark (the site's previous name). So tonight I've added some of those photos as well as some new photos scanned from my personal collection. Enjoy!

| • Indigo Publishing Update |
| This morning the publisher at Indigo gave me an update about Hugo Vickers's Vivien Leigh biography rewrite. Good news! It's done! They are currently preparing to send it off to printing so they anticipate a Fall 2008 release. Suzanne, Vivien's daughter, gave her approval to Mr. Vickers when they saw each other at a recent memorial service. Indigo would like to know if you, Vivien Leigh fans, are interested in pre-ordering through them at a discounted rate. If yes, let me know by commenting above. Please say YES or NO and what country you live in. Thank you. I will let you know when I receive word about a final publishing date/price. |

| I'm sad to report that Evelyn Keyes, the actress who played Scarlett's younger sister in Gone with the Wind, passed away on July 4th. You can read more about it in the Blog. |

| This website is best viewed in Internet Explorer, but I attempt to make it compatible for Firefox and Opera users. It came to my attention that the Friends page didn't work properly in Firefox. I've fixed it so now the text should be legible in all browsers. |

| • Remembering Vivien Leigh |
| Actress Vivien Leigh passed away on July 7, 1967 from complications of TB. She was 53. She will never be forgotten, thanks to her successful portrayal of Scarlett O'Hara in Gone with the Wind and thanks to her many adoring fans of all ages. Sadly, most of her family and friends have passed away but I think it's best to celebrate her through the memories of her friends. Please check out the recently expanded Friends page in the Personal Life section. In particular, be sure to read the stories of Dirk Bogarde, Peter Feibleman, and Rachel Kempson. | By request of the VL yahoo group, I've added A Yank at Oxford to the Multimedia section. You can now watch this entire film exclusively on VIVIEN-LEIGH.COM. Vivien has a small role and doesn't appear until 30 minutes into the film, but I highly recommend everyone watch it! Robert Taylor and Maureen O'Sullivan costar. |
